Iskandar the Best Gold, called Barunka, was the very first „retriever part“ of our family. Actually she was the birthday gift for my husband and I am not afraid to say one of the best he ever got! She is prooving to us every day that the golden retrievers have golden hearts.

Unfortunatelly, regarding her health problems we have decided not to breed her and keep her life as simple as possible. Still she is our beloved sweetheart, even if she can´t have puppies. The most important thing is that she will stay in our life for a long, long time!

Later when my beloved dog (and Barunka´s bestfriend) Nunýs passed away, I was almost desperate. Nunýs was sweet and cute crossbreed, very loyal, happy and loving. He spent the last four years of his long life on a wheelchair and I would say I have never seen such a brave and agile dog! We all loved him so much...:-(

As Barunka started to be really sad too and we all missed the companion in our house, we decided to give our heart to another retriever puppy. And that is how Majda became a part of our family! Right from the start, she gave us so much love and happiness! Because her health is really good and she is excellent on exhibitions, we are planning to breed her. I hope you are looking forward to her puppies as much as I am:-)

Golden retrievers are not bred to be guard dogs, and considering the size of their hearts and their irrepressible joy in life, they are less likely to bite than to bark, less likely to bark than to lick a hand in greeting. In spite of their size, they think they are lap dogs, and in spite of being dogs, they think they are also human, and nearly every human they meet is judged to have the potential to be a boon companion who might, at many moment, cry, "Let's go!" and lead them on a great adventure.
